PDP-8 TU56 DECtape Drive H725 power supply wires repaired
I cut off the damaged portion of the wire and spliced on new wire and quick disconnect connectors. I used Teflon wire which should withstand the heat. The original wire seemed to be better than the PVC wire that is the most common type of wire used currently but not as heat resistant as Teflon.
